Partnership Extended Following Successful Delivery over Two Years to Scottish Enterprise’s Pioneering Proof of Concept Programme

Abingdon, United Kingdom, 2nd December 2008 – Conduit Partners Limited, the UK’s leading specialist in early stage business-building for technology-based companies, today announces that it has successfully secured an extension to its existing contract to deliver commercial services to Scottish Enterprise – Scotland’s enterprise, innovation and investment agency. The contract extension follows two years of successful delivery into the national Proof of Concept Programme.

Under the agreement, Conduit is appointed as a supplier of market consultancy and support services to projects funded by Scottish Enterprise’s Proof of Concept Programme. The new contract was secured following the success of Conduit’s facilitated market assessment workshops, which have been delivered to over 30 Scottish Enterprise-supported research projects from Scottish universities over the last two years.

Through Scottish Enterprise’s Proof of Concept Programme, Scotland’s world-renowned research is being transformed into companies with the potential to grow and become world leaders in their fields
