New lock screen with card-style notification

iOS 10 now comes with a new lock screen with more interactive notifications and card-style design, which has been there in Android since the launch of Lollipop 5.0.

Traffic info, additional stops and more in Apple Maps

Apple Maps in iOS 10 has also been overhauled with a bunch of new features such as traffic information, additional stops on the route to your destination, and third-party integration. Google already have rolled out this feature to its Google Maps application.

Siri opens to developers

Apple’s virtual assistant Siri is now open for third-party developers via an API. This will let other outside apps to function using Siri’s voice commands. Something that has been the case with Google Now since quite some time.
