This is an exercise for establishing contact with your higher self. This exercise is not recommended for people that have been mentally ill, are taking strong medicine, who have a nervous nature or a strong imagination. To do this exercise you need an ink pen and plenty of notebook paper.
1. Choose one of the following positive self affirmations that you feel fits you best right now:
* ”I fulfill the purpose of my life, which is becoming clearer to me with each day that passes. ”
* ”I have the right to abundance and wealth, and this is flooding to me in a positive way right now. ”
* ”I'm resting in the center of my being, which brings me clarity and peace of mind. ”
* ”The Universe is an unlimited arsenal of healing energy which revitalizes me and keeps me going. ”
* ”All I wish for my own good, I can achieve without effort and with the blessing from the Universe. ”
* ”I am capable of making good choices for myself.”
* ”I create and keep harmonic relationships for the benefit of everybody I am together with. ”
2. Write down the affirmation you've chosen, reading and repeating this statement silently to yourself for two minutes.
3. Write down all the thoughts that appear in your mind without analyzing them, even if it seems like nonsense. Write for two minutes.
4. Re-write the same affirmation and read the statement silently for two minutes. Then start the two minute writing cycle again, where you write down all thoughts that appear in your consciousness.
5. Continue this exercise until you have written the same affirmation 22 times. This exercise will take up to 45 minutes when we add each two minute cycles of silent reading or listening.
Repeat this exercise every day for 11 days. Then take a break for 11 days before you choose another affirmation or statement to work with. I recommend that you work through all the affirmations. Do not expect a great result and don't strive to achieve a certain result. You will know when you have got in touch with the higher or spiritual part of your self, by recognizing that you are writing something that you didn't get time to think over consciously. You will feel that you are taking dictation or doing some kind of automatic writing.
