TrustedPlaces Partners with TopTable to Offer Bookings
TrustedPlaces users can now book restaurants online following the deal between the local review community site and Europe's largest online restaurant booking service: TopTable.
TrustedPlaces announces today a partnership with TopTable that enables its users to book at 3,000 restaurants across Europe.
TrustedPlaces is a local reviews community website, where users can discover restaurants, bars, hotels, cafes and more - all recommended by real people. Members can also share their opinions through their own reviews and receive personalised recommendations by their friends and peers. With the deal announced today, TrustedPlaces adds bookings to its core service, enhancing its value to the end user.
The London-based startup has invested heavily in its online product offering since raising equity finance from HOWZAT Media in February 2007. Today's deal marks another service enhancement, which follows the introductions of personalised recommendations, video reviews, user generated lists and an overall enhanced product design that was released in September.
TrustedPlaces innovative approach was recognised by the Guardian in July, which selected the company as "One of the Top 10
British Dotcoms to Watch". In November The Times placed TrustedPlaces on top of their list of the "50 Best Travel sites of 2007".
