Without a doubt the video game and movie markets are a billion dollar industry and if you can gain just 4% of this market you will gain a significant amount of income. I would know I used to own a successful video game and movie store on ebay. I even made it to the powerseller status bringing in around $500 to $1000 dollars every other week. But I found the process of listing items over and over again very tedious. But that is another story. Lets concentrate on the wholesale aspect.
Now, when it comes to finding video games to sell you have a lot of choices. You can either sell new or used video games. Actually, I liked selling used video games more than new because I could make a better return on the backend. If you're an ebay merchant or buyer you can probably find plenty of used video game lots wholesale right on ebay to resell. I found plenty of people who were willing to let go of exceptional console and game lots at rock bottom prices.
Another great place to find movies as well as used video games art at your local Blockbuster store. I would wait for those sales were they would have a buy 2 get 2 free sale and stock up. I would almost buy out their whole stock. But if I found a blockbuster that had slow games sales I would list the items and sell them before I brought the games. I made a lot of money doing just this on technique. But this is for the brave of heart. Because if the game does sell and blockbuster has the game to sell before you get back your out of luck.
Now, when it comes to new movies and video games I kept it down to 3 wholesale dealers, Sams Club, Costco and sosdeals.com. I lived in Costco and Sams club. No they did not give me any discounts if I brought in bulk but they almost always had what I needed in stock.
Sosdeals.com was great also. I could buy games and movies from them to resale or I could have them to drop ship the games. Here is the funny part. Sosdeals.com distributor/business partner supplies Costco and Sams club. So I could negotiate deals with them on bulk purchases. I loved their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
