Games Room Poker Holdem or Foldem Game Information by Ecobika Holdemtips

Can you outwit your opponent in Holdem or Foldem, bet365's take on the very popular and exciting table game, Texas Holdem? How To Play?

Easy. Choose your opponent, select your stake, and then click the 'Submit & Deal' button.

You will then be dealt two cards, as will your opponent. You will be able to see your two cards, but not those of your opponent.

Depending on the two cards that you have been dealt, you will then need to decide whether to play on (hold), or stop playing (fold). If you decide to hold, you must match your original stake. Your opponent will then decide whether to hold or fold. Should one of you decide to fold, the other will win the contents of the pot.

If you and your opponent hold, three more cards will be dealt, this stage is known as the 'flop'. Once more, you will need to decide whether to hold or fold. As before, if you decide to hold you must bet again your original stake. Your opponent will then decide whether to hold or fold, if the decision is to hold, your stake will be matched. Once again, if either of you decide to fold, the other will win the contents of the pot.

If you and your opponent hold, one more card is dealt, this stage is know as the 'turn'. Once more, you will need to decide whether to hold or fold. From this point on, if you choose to hold, you must bet double your original stake. As before, if you or your opponent folds, the other will win the contents of the pot.

The final card to be dealt is known as the 'river'. Again, you and your opponent need to decide whether to hold or fold. If you choose to hold, you must bet double your original stake. Should both you and your opponent decide to hold, your opponent's two cards will finally be revealed. Whoever has the best five card hand will win the pot. If you and your opponent have a hand of equal value, the game is tied and the pot is shared.
