IoT pioneers will present a view from 2025 and demonstrate how its technology identifies inefficiencies in businesses

Stratford-upon-Avon, 1 February 2016: Pioneering real-time analytics specialist EveryWare will demonstrate how businesses can harness the Internet of Things to save money and improve business efficiencies at this year’s IoT Tech Expo.

EveryWare identifies the inefficiencies that are costing businesses money through the use of retrofit sensors and Internet of Things technology, allowing them to resolve issues instantly and remotely, before they escalate. Managing Director Nigel Maris will be speaking at the event, taking a hypothetical look back at the rise of IoT from the year 2025.

“By 2020, there will be an estimated 38.5 billion connected devices in the world. Over the next 10 years, the market impact for the industry will be $14.4 trillion thanks to IoT,” said Maris. “These numbers are so huge that they’re not even important – what really matters is how we better connect the things that matter in a business, and EveryWare is the solution to that.”

The technology is tailored specifically to problems encountered in each individual business across a wide range of sectors – including manual handling, healthcare and green energy. The EveryWare stand will demonstrate how the company’s technology is able to improve efficiency across each of these sectors and beyond.

“The process is simple - through local sensors that can be fitted retrospectively, EveryWare gives you local monitoring, but with remote analysis from anywhere in the world via any handheld device,” said Tom Screen, Technical Director of EveryWare. “At IoT Tech Expo, we will demonstrate in real time how business owners can connect directly to the system from a remote device to receive a real-time overview of the workspace, broken down by function.”
