Interoute provides virtualisation to maintain web performance for more than two million unique visitors per month
London, 6 July 2011 - Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest next generation network, has today announced that tour operator Nouvelles Frontières is using its managed hosting to support growth of its web based business. Rather than relying on four hosting providers, Nouvelles Frontières has upgraded to one hosting platform from Interoute, utilising innovative virtualisation technologies to deliver flexibility.
Each month the Nouvelles Frontières website attracts more than two million unique visitors and it is essential that its customers are able to access the website at all times. Interoute will provide Nouvelles Frontières with a secure, dedicated bandwidth of 100 mbps, which can be turned up to 1Gbps in less than five minutes should the website face a peak in traffic. The tour operator now has a robust and flexible hosting platform with the option of adding virtual servers to scale up bandwidth to meet demand during peak times and maintain an excellent customer experience.
