London - (30th June 2011) – iBAHN, the worldwide leader in digital entertainment and Internet solutions for the hospitality and meeting industries, announces today that it has signed a 36-month contract with the Rocco Forte Hotels group to deliver broadband services for hotel guests and back office staff.
The renewed contract will start in August and will cover all current and certain future properties, including Abu Dhabi (opening in September), Cairo, Luxor, Jeddah and Marrakech. As well as fixed broadband, iBAHN is also rolling out enterprise grade WiFi across the Rocco Forte Hotels portfolio in the coming months. Rocco Forte Hotels is the first group to maximise the opportunities of iBAHN’s high speed, secure network by harnessing its power for back office services as well as for guest use, which means reduced costs as well as consistency of service across the group.
Business travellers with sensitive corporate information will also benefit from the highest standards of data security through iBAHN’s Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) solution, which vastly reduces the possibility of guest data theft, eliminates the ability to steal guest data and provides total separation between different wireless users.
