Windows 7 Build 7048 leaks

Yesterday we covered the 7048 screenshot leak but word reaches us that an x64 version of 7048 has leaked to popular torrent sites today.  7048 carries the build tag 7048.0.winmain.090219-1845 meaning it was compiled on the 19th February. According to the screenshots that leaked yesterday 7048 includes a tweaked start button, new icons for Notes, Paint and Calculator applications and Aero Peek is enabled on alt+tab.   7048 is a pre-RC1 compile of Windows 7 and is not likely to become the final RC1 build.   Read full story...
