Berkeley, California – April 18, 2012 – Newfield Wireless® announced today that its TrueCall® network visualization and optimization software has been nominated to win a Telecoms.com 2012 LTE Award. The company is nominated in the ‘Best Test/Measurement LTE Product’ category.
“This nomination validates our leadership position in the area of network visualization and optimization for LTE,” said Marc Bensadoun, chief executive officer, Newfield Wireless. “We’re getting a tremendous response from pioneering operators because TrueCall provides unique visibility into their LTE networks.”
TrueCall is the world’s first LTE network visualization and optimization tool. It enables operators to measure network and device performance, and to assess and improve subscriber experience. TrueCall delivers an end-to-end network view (RAN and core) based on individual data sessions – all in real time. It is the only LTE visualization and optimization application commercially available today.
“We’ve developed an application that is capable of drilling down to Layer 3 messaging for each individual LTE session, producing geo-referenced maps, reports and session records,” added Bensadoun. “TrueCall is a multi-vendor and multi-technology application our customers use to understand critical issues observed in early LTE network deployments such as Circuit Switch Fallback, 4G/3G load balancing and VoLTE.”
Telecoms.com LTE 2012 awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Montjuic El Xalet May 23, 2012. The awards are held in conjunction with the LTE World Summit, where Newfield Wireless will be exhibiting and demonstrating TrueCall LTE at stand 3, from May 23-24.
