- Telehouse sponsor key data centre exhibition in Moscow -
Telehouse, a leading provider of global data centres and subsidiary of $42 billion telecommunications giant KDDI, today confirmed it will be attending Data Center World 2012 from the 30th-31st May, held in the Radisson-Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow, Russia. The decision to exhibit at the event provides Telehouse with an ideal platform from which to showcase its brand to this resurgent market.
There are currently over 25 key colocation facilities in Russia already with the market totalling approximately €400m in 2011 which was a 13 per cent increase on 2010 according to market research firm PMR. This is expected to follow at least a 16 per cent increase for 2012 to put market value at over €460m. This, combined with a report from analyst house Tariff Consultancy Ltd, which states that the average data centre in Russia will increase in capacity by 45 per cent by 2016, highlights the potential of the industry within the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region.
Data Center World 2012 prides itself on being the premier data centre show within Central and Eastern Europe, offering over 1000 attendees the most innovative approaches and insight into data centre development, deployment and management of engineering, network and IT infrastructure. With a live webcast further increasing the reach of the event, the focus of the topics discussed will represent customer interest in;
• Modular Data Centers
• Micro and Mini Data Centers
• DC Management, Data Center Infrastructure Management System
• Energy Efficient Solutions
• Alternative Power Systems
• Security in virtualised environments and clouds
• Traffic switching and networking in virtualised environments
• Integrated IT solutions and platforms
Michelle Reid, Sales & Marketing Director from Telehouse, comments: “The Russian economy has continually grown year on year and we at Telehouse recognise the opportunities that this presents.
