Souz Petrolium Selects Aspect Enterprise Solutions’ Oil Trade, Risk And Inventory Management Solution

Geneva-based oil trading house Souz Petrolium has chosen the AspectCTRM commodity trade and risk management system from vendor Aspect Enterprise Solutions as the heart of an integrated, enterprise-wide solution enabling fully end-to-end trading.

AspectCTRM is a multi commodity trading and risk management solution based on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) architecture and delivered in the Cloud. It provides comprehensive real time trade and risk management, and physical and financial operations functionality for mid-market and top tier trading companies globally supporting oil, biofuels, metals, steel, and other commodities.

At Souz Petrolium, AspectCTRM Standard Edition will be integrated with the company’s existing systems including Sun Accounts. The end result will be a company-wide technology architecture spanning operations in Europe, Russia and Asia-Pac, and allowing for future growth and functionality expansion. The implementation includes inventory operations functionality to support Souz Petrolium’s storage and blending activities, and also allows the production of custom management reports as required.

Souz Petrolium’s Jim Fleet said AspectCTRM was an ideal choice for the organization since he and a number of his colleagues had prior experience of the system with previous employers.
