February 18, 2010 – Kodak announces the launch of the new KODAK i1405 Scanner which delivers new levels of productivity for small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs) digitizing volumes of paper documents and records. The compact i1405 desktop model offers a versatile range of capture capabilities, and helps SMBs focus on increasing productivity to improve critical business processes. The i1405 Scanner processes up to 150 pages in one batch and support document sizes from business cards up to A3 and is designed as a successor to the i100 Series Scanners.

Kodak’s Smart Touch technology feature helps users easily scan to email, file and upload images to Microsoft SharePoint or other desktop locations. The scanner supports Kodak’s Perfect Page Technology, which effectively streamlines the smoothing, accuracy and detection of color.
