London 3rd April 2012 The organisers of Datacentres 2012 (www.datacentres2012.com) Europe’s premier content led event for datacentre and cloud users and operators, have announced that Emerson Network Power is acting as Diamond sponsor and host of the Energy Theatre. The event takes place 23-24 May 2012 at the Acropolis Convention centre in Nice, France.

Datacentre energy costs can be 100-times higher than those for typical buildings, and continues to feature as a critical factor that all operators confront. The Energy Theatre will form a unique focus at the event to provide insight into all aspects of energy source, power and cooling inside the datacentre.

He’ll discuss Energy Logic, a vendor-neutral approach to reducing datacentre energy use up to 65 percent. He’ll detail 10 strategies and the quantified energy savings associated with each and provide a lens through which facilities can self-assess to determine which strategies present the best opportunity.
