CloudSigma’s Flexible, Customer-Centric IaaS Solution Recognized by the Cloud Awards for the Second Year in a Row
Palo Alto, CA - 13 December 2012 - CloudSigma, an international, customer-centric, pure-cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider, has been shortlisted in the 2012-2013 Cloud Awards Program in the category of Best Cloud Infrastructure.
The Cloud Awards identify and celebrate excellence in the field of cloud computing, with categories including Best Cloud Infrastructure, Data Innovation of the Year, Developer of the Year, Most Promising Start-Up, Web Services Excellence and Best Software as a Service. The cloud computing awards program accepts entries from organizations of any size – from enterprises to start-ups – in the U.S. and internationally.
CloudSigma CTO and co-founder Robert Jenkins said: “Being shortlisted in the Cloud Award’s Best Cloud Infrastructure category for the second year in a row is an honor. CloudSigma’s mission has always been to offer the most innovative, customer-centric public cloud on the market. Our second Cloud Awards nomination not only boosts our credibility as the most flexible, cost-efficient cloud on the market, but truly sets us apart from the competition as one of the most innovative public cloud IaaS platforms.”
Cloud Awards organizer Larry Johnson said: “The standard of entries this year was truly incredible – and we’re still scratching the surface of what the cloud is capable of. Efficiency, agility and an ability to leverage all of the positive attributes of cloud technologies are what set the organizations in this shortlist apart from any other.”
Nearly 200 organizations entered, with entries coming from across the globe and including Europe, the U.S. and Middle East. Final winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 15.
