Document output solution for Caisse d’Epargne receives premier prize of Palmarès Xplor France 2012
Paris, France – March 26, 2012 – Cincom® ChannelStream™ has won the premier prize of the Palmarès Xplor France 2012 award. The award ceremony, which was attended by 140 document specialists across all industries, took place on March 21 in Paris.
The 1er Prix de l’Editique, the premier prize for document management and document production, has been awarded to Informatique & Technologies Caisse d’Epargne (IT-CE), the computing centre of the renowned French banking group, and the document output management solution they use, ChannelStream, from international software provider Cincom Systems. The jury was particularly impressed by the handling of all outgoing document streams in one unique process. The flexibility and agility of the solution as well as the cost reductions involved were also praised as particularly strong highlights.

Monsieur Patrice Blondeau, Directeur Délégué Editique et Archivage ECM of IT-CE, explains: “While we were basically happy with our existing output tool – that we are still using – ChannelStream allows us to integrate new flows that we couldn’t manage before. With the integration of these flows, we are able to diversify and enrich our offering. We can now easily control all the jobs we run and ensure that we’re managing them entirely. Last but not least, our internal team administers the tool themselves, without any programming.”
Cincom had submitted three cases to Xplor, two of which were accepted. Alongside Cincom ChannelStream, Cincom’s web-based enterprise content management solution, Cincom ECM, was awarded the Prize of the Jury.
Xplor is a worldwide, non-profit association whose members engage in the design, production and distribution of variable data documents, ranging from high volumes of statements, bills, insurance policies and personalised direct mail to very customised marketing materials. Xplor surveys the progress within the industry and identifies those participants who have made notable and significant contributions.
