SL: Writing Internet articles is one of the bestpromotional strategies used online. Not only will itprovide you with massive free publicity, but it willalso build your credibility and promote you as atrusted professional in your area of expertise.
MS: How long have you been writing Ezine Articles andwhat are the main topics you write about?
SL: I've been writing articles for the last fouryears and I write mainly about Internet marketing,Ecommerce, Web Design, and Web Development.
MS: Shelley, are Ezine Articles your principal webmarketing technique?
SL: Yes, writing articles is my main marketingstrategy, as I have found it to be highly effective.

SL: I use a combination of both. I mention my productwithin my bylines, however, I concentrate more ongaining new subscribers. A long-termrelationship with a subscriber is much more beneficialthan trying to make a one-time sale.
MS: What have you found to be the most effective waysof getting your Articles published?
SL: I use a combination of methods. The mosteffective method I use is an opt-in list. I enable myvisitors to subscribe to my publishers list to receivenew articles as soon as they're released. The secondmost powerful method I use is article announcementlists. Some additional methods include posting myarticles on my website and submitting them to articledirectories.
MS: Apart from getting your Articles published inNewsletters, are there any other ways you use yourArticles to promote your website? (such as turningthem into a free E-Book)?
SL: In addition to getting your articles published inezines, syndication services provide a great way togain massive free promotion. If your article ispublished, it will be displayed across hundreds ofwebsites.
