A LOVELY PLACE
« Posted: October 29, 2007, 02:26:51 PM »

A moment in time, describes India as a place where time comes to a halt, where people come together, over casual talk and laughter and tragedy. It is this place, where communities are formed and people come close together over the most simplest and profundest of events.

Some of the most famous festivals in India, are: Diwali, Id, and Holi becauase they celebrate religion and people and help bring people togther through giving them meaning through religious themes.

Diwali, for instance celebrates the theme of good over evil, much like Holi does. Both, Diwali and Holi represent festivals of color where in Diwali different colours of crackers, are burnt and houses are decorated in different colors.

About the Author

I am a writer of adventure and travel articles, I enjoy the great outdoors, becuase they provide a person with a place to escape from the hectic traffic found in cities. I also write poetry, and also love to write short snippets on adventure here and there.
