When I first came on the Internet, the first thing I did was subscribed to many newsletters.

Great writers, perfect English, plus very good information. But the information was geared more to experienced marketer. That and a lot were nothing more then advertising flyers.

I remember and our family is thankful. I had 5 brothers and 2 sisters in the second World War. (One brother served in both the Dieppe and Normandy landings, 3 in the Normandy landing). In fact one of my brothers spend his 16th birthday in a POW camp, captured in Belgium. My brother came through Dieppe without a scratch, but was injured in Belgium.

Another brother in the merchant marine was 6 days out of England when war was declared. He was on one of the first ships that were sunk. He joined RCNVR (and if you remembered "The German Happy Hours" between 1939-1943) it will be no surprise to hear at least 4 of the Frigates, Destroyers, he was on went to the bottom of the Atlantic.

We are thankful all came back. Yet we do feel guilty as we had friends with just 2 in the service, both were killed in action.

We will always remember. So will our Grandchildren.
