Patch Tuesday for September 2009

Microsoft's Security Bulletin for September contains five critical bulletins for release on Tuesday to block Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities in Windows operating systems.  The five patches are scheduled for release on September 8, 2009.  All five bulletins have been rated as "Critical", Microsoft's highest rating for vulnerabilities.  These critical updates are to prevent exploitation of Windows operating system and prevent holes used by Internet worms to attack users without user interaction.  These updates only affect Microsoft Windows operating systems and not any other software.   Read full story...
