ZinMobi Brings Breakthrough Mobile Marketing Platform to the UK

 The company that has been delivering immediate sales for many of Ireland’s top retailers, restaurant and fast food chains is launching in the UK today. ZinMobi – backed by Enterprise Ireland – has developed an intelligent mobile marketing platform that is proven to trigger consumer action and purchase within minutes of pressing the send button.

ZinMobi’s approach is endorsed by the results of research from 1,000 UK Consumers, also published today by ZinMobi. It shows that keeping things simple and personalised is vital and that ensuring messages are sent at the right time and with consent is also a must have – see figure 1.

ZinMobi’s platform makes it easy for brands to avoid all these loyalty traps automatically once the system is set up.

Personal targeting works better than mobile adverts   
Offers received via a targeted text message are twice as popular as mobile advertising – see figure 2.

ZinMobi uses a special algorithm to enable personal targeting by interrogating consumer purchase and demographic data. The ZinMobi approach does not require a huge investment in ‘Big Data’, just access to a small number of key data points which build a consumer profile. It is this profile that helps to automate the targeting process.

SMS edges email for read rates
Consumers are most likely to read messages sent by SMS and email – see Figure 3.

ZinMobi will be attending the Mobile Retail Summit 2014 in London on June 5th, where Brian Stephenson will be holding an interactive workshop on how retail brands are using mobile to increase sales and loyalty with targeted mobile marketing campaigns; and will finish with a live demo of creating and executing a targeted mobile couponing promotion in just a few minutes, using the ZinMobi platform.
