Yahoo Strikes Deal With JaJah

Telecommunications company JaJah has announced that it has been selected by Yahoo as the outsource partner for its premium voice service. Yahoo Messenger's "Phone In" and "Phone Out" service, which started in 2006 and allows PC users to to make and receive voice calls from landline and mobile phones, will be routed through the JaJah network in a partnership beginning in Q3 of this year. This deal means JaJah will take over the provision of the telephony infrastructure, payment processing, and customer care for Yahoo's premium voice users."The seamless integration of web and voice interaction is clearly important to our strategic partner," said Trevor Healy, CEO of JaJah. "Through this relationship, we have the opportunity to extend our innovative global calling services with an industry leader that can leverage the power of our platform and network."  Read full story...
