RECOGNISED AMONG BRITAIN'S FASTEST-GROWING TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES
LONDON, 19 September, 2013 - XConnect, the leader in next generation Federation interconnection and Registry services, has been listed on the annual Sunday Times Tech Track 100 which features the fastest growing tech companies in the UK.
This is XConnect's third consecutive appearance on the list, with reported annual sales growth of 47 percent over three years. Earlier this year XConnect announced a partnership with Netherlands based GCXS to launch the Dutch Interconnection Alliance (DIA). The company has this year also secured $10m of additional growth funding from Young Associates, the London-based private investment firm headed by Lord Young of Graffham, and its existing investor Crescent Group.
"We are absolutely delighted to have been ranked in the prestigious Tech Track 100 list for the third year in a row. Our teams across the globe have worked incredibly hard to sustain strong growth year on year," said XConnect CEO Eli Katz. "We will continue to drive growth through expansion into new geographies and products and continuing innovation in enhanced Federation services and areas such as Number Portability services and MVoIP.
Now in its 13th year, the Tech Track 100 league table recognises the UK companies from the technology, media and telecoms sectors with fastest growing sales over the last three years.
Steve Langan, managing director of Hiscox UK and Ireland, the title sponsor of the league table, said: “The passion, determination and resilience that this year’s Tech Track 100 businesses have demonstrated is no mean feat given the economic context and continued challenging trading conditions. We are pleased to be able to celebrate some of the brave and the bold tech companies that exist up and down the country, and hope that their success now inspires others too.”
