- Strengthening capabilities for UK corporates -
UKSolutions, one of the UK’s largest privately owned data centre operators has added two new senior positions to its team to support its continued growth and focus on the corporate market. Barry Underhill (58) joins in the strategic role as Head of Sales and Giles Pearce (35) now leads the company’s business development activities.
Previously with Netshield Limited, Underhill led the sales team and successfully repositioned the company into the market as a managed service provider. During his time at Redstone plc, Barry was promoted from sales manager to director of channel sales where he developed profitable, cost effective, end-user revenues, working closely with Redstone channel partners. Originally trained by IBM and with experience of leading and building the sales function, Barry will now lead the sales team for UKSolutions.
Pearce was previously with Timico Limited, a £30 million ISP, where he was responsible for new business development across the company’s core products and markets. His role saw him responsible for lead generation and for supporting all marketing and sales focused activities.
