Leading Vendors, Solution and Service Providers to meet in London in September 2011

(London, 31 May 2011) IT Europa and Angel Business Communications announced today that they will jointly be staging the first UK Managed Services Summit on 13 September 2011 in London. The event will bring together leading hardware and software vendors, hosting providers, telecommunications companies, mobile operators and web services providers involved in cloud-based managed services with resellers, integrators and service providers migrating to, or developing their own managed services portfolio.

The UK Managed Services Summit 2011 is a director-level event designed to help organisations identify opportunities arising from the increasing demand for managed services and to develop and strengthen partnerships aimed at supporting sales. The summit will feature a high-level conference programme exploring some of the latest research on cloud-based managed services and looking at how the market is segmenting into Managed Support Services, Information Protection, Unified Communications and Collaboration, SaaS (Business Productivity Suites & Business Process Management), Cloud Infrastructure Services and Communications services.

During the day, separate streams will examine the building blocks that the channel will require to build a Managed Services Practice including: the application software required to manage, control and bill its services, how to develop a cloud infrastructure and the issues arising from the delivery of managed services including communications and mobility.
