...operator billingtxtNation have today officially switched on their direct connectivity across all mobile operators in Belgium. txtNation is currently showcasing their mobile gateway availability to clients looking at this attractive market.
Belgium has a vibrant mobile community, with over 10 million people and a strong mobile penetration rate of 115%. Proximus is the largest network followed closely by Mobistar and Base (KPN). txtNation has arrangements with all three operators.
txtNation Director, Michael Whelan quotes "Being a Tier 1 mobile aggregator in any market provides us with far more options for growth and Belgium is no exception. With our already high levels of business in this market, we can now provide even better technical support, customer care, throughput and increased reliability to our clients going forward.”
txtNation are fast becoming one of the most connected mobile aggregators, offering monetisation opportunities across their multiple direct connections to mobile networks worldwide, with a clear focus on mobile billing and SMS messaging.
Ashley Cross, COO says "We are very excited to be entering the Belgian market in a direct capacity. We have been involved in discussions and approvals with the Belgian networks over the last couple of years. This move follows our focused ramp up strategy for our direct aggregation and connectivity, of which has already included expansion into all of the Nordic regions, as well as several other key markets.”
Being direct is where txtNation says it wants to be long term. txtNation's growth in the last several years and in attaining mass operator connectivity, has enabled them to provide their clients far greater flexibility, improved support and enhanced billing capabilities.
Alongside traditional Premium SMS, with this deal, txtNation claim they can deliver Direct Operator Billing alongside the more traditional mobile billing options they have become synonymous for. They can also provide increased quality across Bulk SMS messaging, utilising their operator interconnects.
In the Belgium market, txtNation will be providing the full array of mobile billing options, of which includes Premium SMS (Short Codes - MO, MT), WAP Billing and of course the much talked about and heralded Direct Operator Billing, which is due for a late 2013 release.
txtNation are positioning themselves further in this market as a tier-one aggregator with increased localised presence. txtNation are encouraging all service providers looking to enter this lucrative market or similarly, existing providers that are interested in new commercial discussions, to make contact at the earliest opportunity.
On the back of their Belgium connectivity, txtNation have also just completed commercial negotiations and started live testing with the mobile networks in Cyprus across mobile operators Cyta Mobile-Vodafone and MTN, which they say will be active as soon as Q3 this year.
