Tribold Shares Stage With Qwest At Management World Americas
« Posted: October 19, 2010, 06:47:30 PM »

London, UK, 19 October 2010 – At next month’s Management World Americas conference in Orlando, Tribold continues to lead the way for Enterprise Product Management (EPM) for Communication Service Providers. At this TM Forum event in Orlando, from 8th to 11th November, Tribold will be discussing the wide range of benefits to CSPs from adoption of Enterprise Product Management, with Tribold executives speaking at the conference and EPM experts demonstrating the capabilities of Tribold EPM on our booth.

Tribold’s marketing director, Ernest Margitta, and Donald Toland, Chief Business Architect Product Operations, Qwest Communications International, will jointly present the Qwest Product Information Management case study describing the following business challenges:

•   High cycle time of product/service introduction (or modification)
•   Lack of enablement for Product Managers to manage products themselves
•   High cost of product/service introduction (or modification)
•   High defect rate of product/service introduction (or modification)
•   Lengthy cycle time and cost of creating product bundles
•   Lengthy cycle time and cost of offering 3rd party products/services.

To solve these challenges Qwest embarked on a Product Information Management (PIM) program to leverage standard definitions of products and services, aligned with TMF SID, deployed across a revised PLM, aligned with TMF eTOM process model. The PIM architecture integrates directly to existing OSS/BSS to radically reduce costs and associated cycle times by up to 75%.

Ernest Margitta, Tribold’s marketing director, commented: “We are delighted to support this Americas event for a fifth consecutive year, in a region that is leading the way for EPM solutions.” Margitta continued: “We’ll be focused on the value that EPM can deliver to CSP's today, but we’ll also be listening intently to what executives in the BSS/OSS industry want and need in order to best shape our solutions in the future.”

In addition to speaking at the conference, Tribold will be exhibiting at their booth #25 on the conference floor. To prearrange a meeting with Tribold please email [email protected] and to find out more about the event please visit: http://www.tmforum.org/ManagementWorldAmericas/8061/home.html
