Tech Trailblazers Awards strengthens Eastern European ties with iHUB Ukraine partnership
The Tech Trailblazers Awards, the online enterprise technology startup awards is partnering with iHUB Ukraine to reach out to the finest in enterprise technology startups in Eastern Europe including Russia and Kazakhstan.
iHUB, of Seed Forum Ukraine, is a non-profit ICT startup incubator funded by a grant from the Norwegian Government and located in the centre of Kiev. iHUB is run as a Public Private Partnership between Seed Forum Ukraine Foundation, Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kiev City Government. Its physical premises houses eighteen selected startups and virtually it spans another twenty startups located all across Ukraine. They provide hands-on training, consulting, business education and networking opportunities to its resident startup entrepreneurs. Currently they are one of only four active incubators in Ukraine.
Partnering with iHUB, Tech Trailblazers Founder Rose Ross says, ‘With our reach extending into Asia and Africa, extending into Eastern Europe is vitally important for our global status. The region has a lot of exciting technology startups to offer into the competition. The iHUB partnership enables the Tech Trailblazers to further show its truly international credentials as the contest attracts even more talent from beyond the traditional enterprise tech startup hubs’.
Dimitri Podoliev, Co-founder & Managing Partner of iHUB Ukraine will join the Emerging Markets judging team says, ‘Partnering with a global program like Tech Trailblazers Awards is very important for iHUB and its members and we are looking forward to blazing a tech trail for the Ukraine’s finest startups on this groundbreaking global platform’.
As part of the partnership, all entrants from the Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan will qualify for entry via the Emerging Markets category which will cost just $50.
The Tech Trailblazers Awards closes to entries on 12th September 2013. The regional cup awards will be announced mid-October and the technology category winners will be announced on 3rd December 2013.
