The Kenton Group, the access network specialist, has today announced that it has configured and distributed a landmark 5000 OneAccess routers to Easynet Connect ADSL and SHDSL customers across the UK.

Easynet Connect, a leading internet service provider (ISP), first began its relationship with The Kenton Group in 2008 when it selected OneAccess as its partner for the delivery of Business Broadband services. The Kenton Group, through its systems integration arm of the business Microtel, pre-configure the high-speed business class routers to client specifications and distribute them, enabling a simple and efficient set up for Easynet Connect SME customers.

“What we have developed for Easynet Connect is a complete turnkey solution to deliver customer premise equipment using a streamlined approach,” said John Larkin, managing director of The Kenton Group. “We have evolved our service and integration of the routers into Easynet Connect’s network in line with their requirements and are very pleased to have now reached the 5000th milestone.”

The OneAccess routers supplied include the One20G/D, One50 and One80 XM. The One80XM SHDSLbis router is the latest addition to the products provided to Easynet Connect, which is deployed for their Surestream service.

All orders are dispatched by The Kenton Group, one of the UK’s most established distributors, to customers anywhere in the UK on a pre 12am next business day shipment. With the routers always in stock, the company can meet the ongoing demand and offer a priority same day service where required.

John Larkin added: “All our orders are also processed through a specially-designed web portal that tracks delivery through a unique barcode given to each customer order.”

The Kenton Group produces personalised delivery slips and other materials that are sent out with the routers based on Easynet Connect’s specifications as well as handling the return of any routers.

A close working relationship with Easynet Connect, combined with The Kenton Group’s specialist engineering and design capabilities, has led to several new product and service opportunities during the past three years.
