The eve before CES @ Bloghaus

Me, Marcel and Tom Warren have arrived in Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), and after sampling the local beverages on offer at various bars along the Las Vegas strip on Saturday evening, we hooked up with Chris Aarons and his colleague Geoff from Buzzcorps on Sunday for the keynote speech from Bill Gates.Originally we planned to be at the keynote, because we are registered as bloggers we were able to get decent seats -but it eventually worked out that we instead viewed the keynote on a massive screen at the "Bloghaus", a venue set aside for bloggers to meet each other and test various products from Microsoft, AMD and HP.The only real difference this year is that we aren't registered as press but "Bloggers" which I suppose is correct anyway! We are staying at the Circus Circus Casino/Hotel, so if any Neowin members want to meet up for a drink or at the event itself we will be happy to let anyone buy us a drink ;-) Link: Bill Gates Keynote Read full story...
