Karlsbad, Germany, 24th September 2014 – From November 11 to 13, technical documentation specialists will come together at the tekom annual conference. In 2014, the industry event – for which about 4,000 visitors are expected – will be held at the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS) for the first time. Apart from the exciting conference program, the accompanying exhibition will feature the latest developments and industry trends. At booth 2/B06, Across Systems GmbH will present the latest version 6 of the Across Language Server.

With its fundamental changes in terms of functionality, performance optimization, and redesign, v6 is an important milestone for Across. The tool presentation by Christian Weih, Chief Sales Officer at Across Systems, on November 11 at 11:15 a.m. will provide an overview of the most important new features. The subject of business intelligence plays a major role in the new Across version. In her lecture entitled "Business Intelligence in Translation Management – Two Worlds Meet" on November 11 at 2:45 p.m., Carmen Bickle will explain how the systematic data analysis can be combined with translation management in a meaningful way. In her tool presentation on the Across Data Cube, she will show how such a concept can be implemented with the Across Language Server. By means of a live demonstration on the system on November 12 at 9:45 a.m., the Head of Business Services and Support will show how the new Across component enables decision makers to easily extract indicators. For example, the translation costs can be analyzed over time and be presented in charts directly from within Microsoft Excel.
