October 28th 2011 - TechWorld, one of the UK’s largest international technology events held 16-17 November at London’s ExCel, and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the trade association for the $190 billion consumer electronics industry in the USA, have launched a competition to find the next big thing at the TechWorld show. The competition, in partnership with the CEA, is open to all exhibitors at TechWorld and features three prizes – all of which include exhibition space in the Eureka Park TechZone at 2012 International CES, which will run 10-13 January in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2012 International CES is expected to span 1.7 million net square feet of exhibit space, with more than 2,700 exhibitors from 140 countries. More than 140,000 attendees are anticipated, with some 30,000 from outside of the U.S., to experience in excess of 20,000 product launches across cutting edge technology categories such as; 3D, mobile DTV, tablets, apps, connected TVs embedded internet, green technology and more.
The competition includes a first prize winner and two runner-up prizes. The overall winner will receive a 10ft x 10ft booth at the Eureka Park TechZone at 2012 International CES, hotel accommodation for two representatives in Las Vegas from 10-13 January and a top table space at CESUnveiled@London on 17 November. Two runner-ups will receive the same exhibition booth at the show and the opportunity to network with 140,000 industry professionals and 5,000 worldwide media and analysts.
