New initiative provides large charities access to discounted software and consulting through Licensing Solutions Providers

16th December, 2013 – Technology Trust today announced its new tt-software partner programme, aimed at providing larger UK charities with greater access to discounted technology solutions through a series of vetted partners. Developed to complement its tt-exchange software donation programme, the tt-software programme connects charities that have reached their yearly limit or have software needs outside tt-exchange’s parameters with a network of approved Licensing Solutions Providers (LSPs).

The LSPs work with individual charities to assess their requirements and provide them with discounted software licences for up-to-date software suited to the needs of their organisation. The programme is open to all legally registered UK charities, even if they are not yet registered with tt-exchange. As part of an application process, Technology Trust reviews each charity, verifies its credentials and refers it to the network of partners to work with directly.

SoftwareONE is the first LSP to become a tt-software partner. The SoftwareONE team has more than ten years’ experience working in the UK charity sector helping organisations such as the National Trust and British Red Cross to save costs by providing them with software licensing solutions based on their specific requirements. Its partnerships with providers including Adobe, Oracle, Citrix, IBM and Symantec mean that charities will have access to an extensive range of additional software.
