November 21st 2011 - In a transformer-less solar inverter application the symmetry of split supply DC voltages with ground is an important issue. The concept described in this article shows the handling of both the input and the output asymmetry in an MPP booster circuit.

There are two different example concepts. The first example demonstrates how to connect solar panel strings with different power and intensity conditions on a solar inverter environment. There is also the possibility to combine panels with different power and MPP characteristics within the booster.
