Successful SAP-Certified Integration of BSG Business Services' Interface Allows EngageOne(TM) Interactive from Pitney Bowes Business Insight to Integrate with SAP(R) ERP
Windsor, Berks UK, 29 June 2010 – Pitney Bowes Business Insight, a global leader in location intelligence, data management and customer communication management software, data and services, today announced that EngageOne™ Interactive, the company’s solution for interactive document generation, can now be integrated with SAP® applications. Developed by BSG Business Services GmbH (BSG) and SAP-certified as powered by the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform, the BSG Interface for EngageOne 1.0 can be used to initiate, conduct and complete interactive document processes at the click of a mouse directly from the SAP® ERP application.
Many companies use SAP solutions to create documents across numerous business functions, such as insurance claims documents, credit card dispute letters or HR correspondence. EngageOne Interactive may replace costly and maintenance intensive document processing applications. It is based on the certified BSG Interface for EngageOneTM, and is easy to integrate with SAP ERP. The solution offers targeted and direct access to document templates within the SAP application, providing integrated management of documents during processing as well as workflow support, temporary archiving and comprehensive evaluation options.
EngageOneTM Interactive significantly reduces editing time while helping ensure consistent communication within the framework of business processes. Master data from SAP transactions is automatically incorporated into selected document templates. This data can be edited and finished via the web-based EngageOneTM editor, which includes an intuitive user interface similar to Microsoft Word, featuring conventional functions such as drag and drop, copy and paste, paragraph controls, choice of sentence building blocks, spell checking and table formatting. Fonts, colours and other formatting can also be preset in the templates to ensure corporate identity is maintained.
