The Utah-based company began in December 2003 with only its five founders, who are all still involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. The ShadowProtect software suite has expanded to include products for home computers, servers, Exchange email systems and virtual systems. Through the years, ShadowProtect software has earned numerous accolades from the industry, including ShadowProtect Desktop’s third consecutive Editors’ Choice Award for Backup Software from PC Magazine in September and the Best of TechEd 2013 award in the Messaging and Unified Communication category for ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange in June.

In addition to ShadowProtect, the StorageCraft Recover-Ability™ Solution for small and medium-sized businesses includes the highly regarded StorageCraft ImageManager™ tool and the recently launched StorageCraft Cloud Services™.
