Sunrise Software among first vendors to achieve OGC recognised ITIL V3 badge
Chessington, 15 April 2010 – Sunrise Software’s Sostenuto ITSM3 is among the first software tools to have received Pink Verify 3.1 accreditation, which is officially recognised by the OGC (Office of Government Commerce) and APM Group as meeting the ITIL Version 3 verification requirements.
The software was assessed and officially certified as compatible with seven ITIL V3 processes by Pink Elephant, the world’s leading IT Service Management education and consulting provider.
The ITIL Version 3 refresh was published in 2007, adopting more of a lifecycle approach to service management, and placing greater emphasis on IT business integration than Version 2. With the ability to create different business services through configuration rather than coding, Sostenuto is well placed to deliver on these requirements.
Executive Chairman Tom Weston commented: “We are delighted to be one of the first vendors to be recognised both by Pink Elephant and the OGC for our ITIL V3 credentials. This double accreditation is testament to our commitment to offering our customers the broadest possible functionality, in the most innovative way.”
Troy DuMoulin, AVP of Product Strategy for Pink Elephant, acknowledges Sostenuto’s status: “PinkVERIFY was created to help the IT community find software tools that are compatible within an ITIL environment. We put this tool through a rigourous assement process to ensure its compatibility. Congratulations to Sunrise for achieving this important status.”
Sostenuto ITSM3 is now listed on the
Pink Verification V3.1 web page as well as the official
OGC ITIL toolset page.
