Sony assures Australians choose Blu-ray this Holiday Season

Any Australian resident 18 years or older who purchases one of twelve Sony Bravia Full HD 1080 LCD Televisions from a participating authorised Austrialian Sony dealer between 9am ADST December 21, 2007 and 11:59pm AEDST January 28, 2008 is entitled to claim (online, see link below) a free 40GB PlayStation 3. That’s $700 worth of console. Of course, they could just use it for gaming, but somehow I don’t think that’s what Sony is pushing for, in the long run. The purchaser should expect up to four weeks of waiting after the claim is accepted before receiving their new entertainment powerhouse.
