Assured cloud services company tops index of the UK’s exciting emerging technology companies

London – May 19th – Skyscape Cloud Services Limited, the easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to leave cloud services company, was announced as the winner of the Pathfinder 20 index of the UK’s most exciting emerging technology companies, at an awards ceremony on May 15th in London.

Founded by August Equity, The Pathfinder 20 index differs from other lists which prescriptively assess businesses purely on historic growth rates. Instead companies shortlisted are measured not just on financial metrics, but on other considerations such as growth prospects, innovation and the ability in the longer term to become industry leaders. The assessment was made by a judging panel of leading technology executives, all of whom have a track record of growing and mentoring leading technology businesses in the UK.

The award win closely follows a £4m minority stake investment from BGF (Business Growth Fund) – an independent company established to help Britain's growing businesses – to support the growth of the rapidly expanding SME in the public sector market. Skyscape was also recently named a “Cool Vendor” by analyst firm, Gartner.
