Woking - 23rd May 2011 -
SFW is delighted to announce that it has won a contract to deliver the technical support and maintenance of the Seringas set of EU ETS Carbon Registries used by Seringas Licensees including France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The Seringas Registry support was awarded under a sub-contract by CDC Climat which is the organisation with whom SFW is also developing ETSWAP, the unified system for Monitoring, Verification and Reporting across all EU ETS sectors including Aviation and
Stationary sources.
Commenting on the new contract, Peter Hornsby, director at SFW said “It is great to be working with and for CDC Climat again. This contract win means that, with the Greta Registry and licensees, SFW is now responsible for supporting over 50% of the EU ETS registries. This bears testimony to SFW’s excellent knowledge of the complexities of both Emissions Trading and Registries, and the technologies that support them. It also means that SFW is ideally placed to assist with the various challenges of the switch over to the Single European Registry.”
