Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 26th October 2010 - In co-operation with object-based cloud storage pioneer Scality, the German cloud leader ScaleUp today presented its cost-cutting Storage Management Platform to the audience at Storage Networking World Europe.

He added, “ScaleUp’s self-service storage platform enables full user authentication and allows users to purchase online. It includes a ‘User Account Dashboard’ and automates the collection of metering, billing and payment.”

ScaleUp spent many months reviewing storage technology providers before deciding upon Scality, the developer of massively scalable object storage software for email and cloud storage applications.

Due to this partnership, ScaleUp can offer its storage solution for a competitive price of 0.10€ per gigabyte per month (excl. VAT) – which is less expensive than even Amazon S3 for a comparable service.
