1st Touch (
www.1sttouch.com) the UK’s leading developer of mobile systems for the social housing and local authority sectors has added another five new recruits to its expanding team. The company which already opened the year with sales, marketing, technical and support appointments is citing significant sales growth as the driving force behind its continued expansion.
John Fawcett has been appointed as New Business Account Manager for the South and Wales. He joins 1st Touch from leading Microsoft reseller Ciber UK Ltd. In his new role John, an Exeter University law graduate, will be introducing prospective social housing and public sector organisations to the clear productivity and efficiency benefits that 1st Touch mobile systems can deliver.
Robert Vaughan is appointed as Project Manager. He joins from Arqiva where he worked as an ITSM Business Analyst. Prior to this he worked as a Systems Analyst for Credit Agricole.
Haider Kahn joins the Support Team from First Wessex and previously held a number of key support roles with the University of Portsmouth and Portsmouth City Council. In his new role, he will use his in-depth knowledge of local authority best practice to support 1st Touch customers in the public sector and social housing arenas.
Simon Taylor has joined as one of two Implementation Consultants. Prior to joining he ran Digital Iridium Ltd., a privately held company, which developed mobile applications for Android, Apple iOS and Windows Phone 7. The other Implementation Consultant added is Chris Bertrand. He joins from leading skincare and cosmetics company Liz Earle Beauty Co. Ltd., where as an IT Solutions Developer he designed and wrote the web service to manage online orders through to the fulfillment centre. Prior to this he worked as a Senior Software Engineer for BAE Systems.
Robert Dent CEO of 1st Touch welcomed the new appointments noting, “It is great news to see these new recruits adding to our skills base as a reflection of our success to date. However, what also impresses me is the exceptional quality of the candidates that have joined us recently. They are all extremely gifted and talented people and ultimately this will reinforce the very high quality levels we adhere to as an organisation. I welcome them aboard and look forward to seeing the impact they will have on our business as we continue to grow.”
