« Posted: September 06, 2010, 09:25:24 PM »

Paris - 06 September, 2010. NextiraOne, Europe’s leading expert in communications services, has announced that its new CEO for NextiraOne France is to be Philippe Hedde.

Philippe Hedde brings to NextiraOne many years of experience gained at IBM, where he began his career in 1984.  Initially working within the finance and commercial division, Philippe spent two years in the United States at the headquarters of IBM Corporation, before joining IBM Global Services Division on his return to France.  Here he undertook a number of roles over a period of almost ten years, both in France and at European level, including the management of the Outsourcing delivery business in France, Spain and Italy. In 2005 he was appointed as General Manager of Consultancy and Integration of IBM France and before joining NextiraOne, Philippe was Vice-President sales, IBM France.

A graduate of the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics of Paris, he holds an MBA from the Institut Supérieur des Affaires (Jouy-en-Josas) and the Wharton Business School (Philadelphia). Former Auditor of the Institute of Higher Education of National Defence Organisation (IHEDN), Philippe Hedde has also been a member of the board of Syntec Informatique since 2006. He was re-elected to the Board of Syntec Informatique in 2009 and is now a member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer of the organisation.

Philippe Hedde’s appointment forms part of NextiraOne’s strategy for growth which is aimed at consolidating the company's position as the leader in communications services in France.

David Winn, CEO of NextiraOne Group, said: "We are delighted to welcome one of IBM’s ‘top executives,’ who will help the company to evolve in a rapidly changing marketplace. The experience and skills that Philip Hedde brings will undoubtedly be a considerable asset in the development of NextiraOne as an integrator of communications solutions in the market for convergence of information technology and communications.”

Philippe Hedde commented: “My aim is to be a part of NextiraOne’s journey to the next level of development. This is an exciting challenge in a services company that has already established itself as a communications expert and credible partner in communications services in the national and international market."

NextiraOne is a leading expert in communications services in France and Europe. The company designs, installs, maintains and supports solutions to meet its customers’ communications needs - from voice, data and video, to mobility, security and applications, for both public and private sector clients.
