Southampton, UK, 23 January 2012: PEER 1 Hosting, one of the world’s leading IT hosting companies, today unveiled a new recruitment drive to expand its UK team, taking its current headcount from 30 to 60 in twelve months.

The company has had 100% year-on-year growth since it launched in the UK in 2009 and has recently opened a £45m custom-built flagship datacenter in Portsmouth.

PEER 1 Hosting, based in Southampton, is going against the trend of cutbacks. During the recent recession it has purposely continued to recruit talented teams with a pathological commitment to outstanding service. The latest recruitment drive will see PEER 1 Hosting hire 30 of the UK’s best graduates into IT sales and technical support roles and expand into new office space in 2012 to support the growth.

The company, well known for its innovative recruitment methods, has already hired an internal recruiter to lead the drive. Having built and internal golf course last year, they will be testing the skills of would-be staff over a round of pitch ‘n’ putt as candidates are tested on a wide range of skills including multitasking, planning, adaptability and winning mentality.
