PathPartner will showcase its GENIVI 3.0 compliant Tizen-based IVI Platform at the conference which is built on extensively used open source components and frameworks with wide industry support. Tizen – an operating system that is primarily Linux-based, gives consumers a feature-rich platform. It also provides the customer with multiple options for UI front-ends including HTML5, Qt and GTK+. The Tizen based platform comes with various features like Support for accelerated multimedia codecs/containers for high quality and performance inclusive of H.264, VP8, Boot-Time optimization, hibernate and wake support, Support for Dual Display, MirrorLink, Hypervisor support, Speech2Text and MFI to name a few.
