Openwave Mobility to provide Insights on NFV at Carrier Network Virtualization Conference
Openwave Mobility to showcase its award winning SDN/NFV-enabled VAS Platform and lead discussion on NFV
REDWOOD CITY, Calif– December 9, 2013 – Openwave Mobility, a software innovator enabling operators to manage and monetize mobile data, today announced that it will be attending Informa’s Carrier Network Virtualization conference at Crowne Plaza, Palo Alto, California. The conference will take place from December, 9-11, at Palo Alto’s Crowne Plaza.
The Carrier Network Virtualization conference is exclusively focused on Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networks (SDN). By bringing together the latest research, case studies and thought leaders, the conference aims to examine the next steps needed to move Carrier NFV strategies forward from discussion to deployment.
During the three day event, Openwave Mobility will discuss how mobile operators can utilize SDN/NFV on their network. Openwave Mobility’s VP of Product Management, Marketing & Strategy, Indranil Chatterjee, has been invited to share his insights about practical use cases for NFV for carriers during the panel discussion entitled “Application Use Cases for NFV”. Chatterjee will lead the discussions on the panel with industry representatives from companies including Telefonica and Procera Networks.
