REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – November 19, 2013 – Openwave Mobility, a software innovator enabling operators to manage and monetize mobile data, will be discussing how mobile operators can monetize Network Function Virtualization (NFV) at TMCnet’s Software Telco Congress on November 21, 2013 at 9:45 – 10:25 a.m. PT.
The Software Telco Congress is a dedicated SDN/NFV event that will bring together the latest research, case studies, solutions and thought-leaders for mobile operators worldwide. During the event, Openwave Mobility’s Director of Product Management, Sekhar Banerjee, will discuss how mobile operators can drive the business case for NFV through Layer 7 applications.
The panel discussion “Monetizing NFV” will be moderated by SDN Central’s Managing Editor, Craig Matsumoto, and joining Banerjee on the panel will be Cisco’s Service Creation Manager, Josh Bottum. The panel will highlight how service providers can leverage NFV in order to transform their businesses into low-risk, high-return innovation leaders who are able to maximize their technology investments to drive subscriber satisfaction and loyalty. Panel attendees will leave with the understanding of the business justifications for moving to a software model and best ways to monetize NFV.
Openwave Mobility’s Integra platform is the world’s most scalable SDN/NFV solution, directly addressing the problem of how to manage unprecedented data consumption. The Layer 7 application provides a pathway for SDN/NFV enabled core networks, reducing operator TCO and supporting 3G and 4G service deployments.
