Latest Infonetics Research Shows OneAccess’ Impact on EMEA Branch Office Router Market
August 25th 2010, Paris – OneAccess, a leading European provider of multi-service access routers, today announced quarter on quarter revenue growth of 9% for the three months ending 30th June 2010, and year on year growth of 40% for its branch office routers in EMEA. According to the latest independent numbers from Infonetics Research released this week, the revenues consolidate OneAccess’ second place position in the market with an increased overall share of the EMEA branch office router market.
“Service providers have always valued the quality and flexibility of our technology, and as we’ve grown in strength we’ve demonstrated far greater responsiveness than the competition, even for customised product versions,” said Mike Wilkinson, CMO at OneAccess. “Our product innovation is driving the next generation of reliable, revenue generating broadband services to SMBs and branch offices. This is where the demand is coming from; demand that is increasing our headcount and our penetration into new markets throughout the region.”
According to Infonetics, the EMEA branch office router market was worth nearly $130m in Q2 2010. OneAccess’ 26.5% market share (by units shipped), up from 23.8% in Q1, cements its position as the number two vendor in EMEA.
Meanwhile during the first half of 2010, OneAccess has released the latest generation of its ONE Series router family including innovations such as SBC Nano and 3G back-up.
Matthias Machowinski, Directing Analyst for Enterprise Voice & Data at Infonetics Research commented, “For operators that are building business cases around network and communication services, the branch office router has become a strategic asset. Greater service complexity and convergence is driving them to equipment where all services - voice, data, security, etc - are unified and provisioning is effortless.”
