Leading Asian communications group selects world’s most bandwidth-efficient VoIP platform with optimised data apps to provide low-cost communications over the Internet

Salisbury, UK, 22 September 2011: One Horizon Group has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Horizon Globex, has signed an agreement to provide its Horizon platform to Asia’s leading communications group, Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel).

Horizon provides optimised communications over the Internet. Enabled by the company’s SmartPacket™ technology, it offers VoIP from only 2kbps – the world’s most bandwidth efficient – and a range of optimised data applications including compressed email, optimised web browsing and instant messaging. In this strategic partnership, SingTel’s satellite division is to sell the Horizon solution as a key part of its offering to the maritime market.
